Hello all. I have a mariner 3.3 with an internal fuel tank. The motor will get 10 km (6 miles) on a full tank of gas. I do a lot of back water fishing and spend 2 weeks a year in the back woods fishing. I usually go with another group who has a Honda 2 hp four stroke. I usually bring 5 gal of gas and by the end of our trip am rationing the gas. The guy with the Honda brings 2 gallons and never uses half of that. I have had the carb rebuilt. The motor runs like a charm but gobbles up the fuel. Is there a way to add an external fuel tank to this motor? I understand that the carb is gravity fed. the gas cap has an air port at the top and i thought that I could somehow attach a hose to that with a primer on it and run that hose into an external fuel tank. Just a thought becasue I am tired of carrying multiple tanks of gas when I could carry one and be done with it.

Thanks
