So last week I went out to start my boat and I had no spark on any cylinder . I began to do some tests to check the cdi and the stator and when I pulled the flywheel off I noticed that the magnets have come unglued. I bought some epoxy from the local dealer here. I glued the magnets back on and I have power it runs like a champ. Well I went out there today and I couldn't get it to fire over so I check for spark and I have no spark in any of the cylinders and when I was checking the last cylinder all of a sudden I have spark in all the cylinders again and it's running good. What could cause this? Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.

Could have a pack going bad but you will have to trouble shoot it when it's acting up.

Engine spinning speed, or low voltage at the yellow/red wire that feeds the pack.
Both of those can be caused by a bad battery / cables.

So I replaced the cdi and still no spark. I tested the stator and I'm getting 750ohms from it. What is it supposed to be? I believe my stator might be bad at this point.

According to that site I should be getting 900-1100 ohms from the stator and I'm getting 750ohms.

So half of my stator and half of my timer base was bad. I've replaced both and also replace the spark plugs. Now it sounds like it's missing on a cylinder. I pulled the plugs and one of the plugs looks burnt and black. I believe the timing might be off. How can I check that?
