I am installing a 175 Johnson Oceanrunner on my 22' Boston Whaler Outrage. I have heard that these engines have had problems with the oil pump. Is there any reason I shouldn't mix the oil into the gas ? Also, does anyone know the ratio?
Read the other posts on the same subject. Djohns19 has some very good comments. <br /><br />The bottom line is - keep water out of the tank (not as simple as it sounds sometimes) and make sure your warning system works and you should be OK.<br /><br />Good luck!
