I have started a new project my friends boat the 1997 Century 1900CC with the yamha 150 sat in the marina for 2 years and then was rebuilt. Then then the boat was parked in there yard and was ever winterized or anything. But the main thing im here for right now is the trim actuators are not working the pump is running but I cant get the actuators to move at all and right now its in the trailer position unlocked. Can anyone help me here?

ok figured it out there is a system bleed off switch which will relieve the fluid in the actuators and flush the fluid back through the pump so its not cavitated which it was and now it works great!

Good to hear it is working properly.
you do not find that relief screw left opened very often, I wonder why someone opened it and left it that way

Sorry the valve was closed and the trim would not work due to pump cavitation. So if you open the valve all pressure is relieved allowing the motor to manually trim down and as it does so the fluid from the pistons is being pushed through the pump and takes care of the cavitation issue.

I am not sure cavitation would be the proper word , maybe air locked or trying to pump air insteaad of fluid.

You may need to check the fluid level and add some

the fluid level is fine it just sat up in the trailer position in a marina for 2 years not operating and then sat in a yard for a while longer. But now I move the trim and it works just like it should i just have to fix the trim sensor
