1997 Carver 350 Mariner ???

I am looking at purchasing the above boat but a salesman told me this is the worst handling boat that Carver ever built due to dead rise.
He said it looks good at the dock but does not handle well in rough water

Is he right?

I've had my 98 Mariner 350 for just over two years. I couldnt say because my first boat was a Bayliner 2452.
