Having a problem with my 60hp johnson. Took of from the ramp and motor souttered and died. First thought fuel, but tank is full fresh fuel, vent cap is open and squeez bulb is firm. Fired it back up and it reves up and dowm while sputtering. Tired giving it throttle at idle and it boggs then dies. Put it in gear at idle and the same thing. Had this same (somewhat) problem with a different motor wich ended up being the power pack. Ugh!! Could it be that again or should i start with the basic fuel trouble shooting? Any ideas would be great. Thanks. :facepalm:
