I have a 97 60hp Johnson. Yesterday i took of from the ramp and it sputtered and died on me. full of fuel i checked the vent cap wihch was open. Checked the bulb and its firm. Got it started back up and at idle it reves up and down and sputters. Everytime i tried to give it throttle it bogged and died. Tried putting it in gear at idle and the same problem. Had this problem somewhat like this before on a different motor, ended up being the power pack. Ugh!! Could this be the same again or should i start with the basic fuel delivery problem? Any help or ideas would be great. Thanks.:facepalm:
