1997 50HP JOHNSON won't stop.

When I turn off my 1997 50 HP Johnson it continues to cough and sputter for about 30 seconds. I have had it back to the dealer but the dealer says nothing is wrong. Any ideas as to what the problem is would be greatly appreciated. null<br /> sdagenais9@home.com

Power pack, ignition switch, wireing harness, connections, poor ground. Check pulse hose to VRO2 pump, starter sometimes rubs hole in the hose.
