Yesterday I drained the float bowls on all 3 cyclinders and I noticed when I tightened the screws it will not get tight but it turns, This is the first motor that I noticed that it has a gasket on the screws. Do I need to replaced the gasket or can I take it off so the screws will be tight?

You need the gaskets so that you wount have fuel leaks. If the plugs will not tight up and just keep turning, check and see if the threads are pulled out of the bowls.

If it has the carb bowls I'm thinking of the threads are most likely stripped in the bowls. They were made out of CPS.
