1997 225efi offshore fuel pump is out and i need help finding replacement pump.

i need a new fuel pump for my outboard.it is the high pressure pump inside of a metal tank. i called mercury parts and they want almost $800.that is just stupid rediculous.Is there an aftermarket replacement for this?PLEASE HELP!!

All the ones listed on ebay that Carholm showed you are from Canada or Europe.
Lots of $ for shipping.

This is the cheapest I've seen. I bought one for 2 motors in the last year and this is the cheapest I've seen.
I paid $500 for 1 and $475 fo the other.
Reliablblemarine , post the link to the cheap guy.
Also they might not like your name on here.
They consider it advertising.
When you order/buy make sure the parts are NEW.
One guy tried to sell me a used one.It was bad.
Also when replacing, make sure there is NO water in the fuel.
It will kill your new pump.

From the number of posts that he had done about cheap fuel pumps on ebay with no other boating advice to offer especially with a username like he had, it'd be safe to assume that it was his ebay business he was advertising which as you know is not welcome here on iboats.;)
