1996 YAMAHA Waverunner 700 problems?

Hello, everyone, my 1996 Yamaha waverunner 700 needs an engine rebuild.

Please, does anyone have an idea how much it might cost. Just an estimate.

The Yamaha dealer does not want to tell me.

This is the Yamaha. Not the exact one, but the same model and colors.

And if I do not get the engine rebuild, and the Yamaha's body is in good condition. How much should I try to sell it for considering working ones are selling for $1500-2200?
