I hope this helps someone with a similar problem. I finally got wise after spending quite a lot of time researching my issue and I called the Yamaha Service Center in Atlanta GA (1-866-894-1626). I discovered that my 2 dip switch tach is a P/n 645-83500-T1-00 or model T-1 tach. It has Red, yellow, Green colors on the face without any buttons. The correct dip switch settings for my C60 TLRU 2-stroke engine #1 switch is DOWN (for 3 wire trim) and the #2 switch is UP (6 pole alternator).
