1996 WaveBlaster Compression

Hi everyone i just did a test on it last night. One is 115 and the other is at 105. Should i be concerned? How much longer before a new top end. Motor is the 760. thanks

I think there is not supposed to be more than 10% diff between cylinders. 10% (maybe 5%, cant remember) of 105 = 10.5 so you should not be more than 115.5,, you are within spec by .5 lbs. You are hanging by a thread. I think my 92 650 wave 111 came factory either 135lbs. or 150lbs. cant remember so i think yours should be similar. Not sure what it hurts to ride it till it dies? Will have to rebuild anyhow.

When you check the compression make sure you open the throttle wide open.
Should be 150psi stock.

thanks for the info. took it out and it seemed to run strong. Did not open the throttle fulll when i did the test so maybe that'll do the trick.
