Just bought a 1996 sea doo SPX 2 seater and pretty happy with it for 500 dollars

If some one could help me with the winterize have no clue what to do with jet skis but have 2 boats pics would help

only problems are the 5 fuse keeps blowing gauges need to be replaced and exhaust at low speeds to loud not normal

i thought of jet skis as water rats but only people that dont have one say that haha
Thanks for the help Guys and sry i messed up my last post

5 amp usually blows because the power trim motor gets water inside it,, you will need to clean it and replace the rubber boot that goes through the hull for the arm that moves the nozzle up and down

The way I winterize mine is I crank it up (out of the water) and let it run for just a few seconds (to blow whatever water it can out...this is also a good time to spray a fogger in the air filter....but I don't normally bother with that), Then I pull the sensor out of the head and fill it with antfreeze till it runs out the back (make sure you put a catch basin under the jet to catch the excess). Then I pull the plugs and spray wd-40 in them, and spray the engne down lighty with it too...holds down rust., spray the jet nozzle with wd-40 and put a plastc bag over it (keeps mice, spiders, ect out of there).

This may not be the 100% correct way to do it but it has worked well for me.

There are many different oppions on this but I fill the tank and add stailizer too.

here is another way: http://www.angelfire.com/oh/theboatguy/winterize.html
