Hi, I have a 1996 Bayliner with a 5.7L Bravo engine. I bought it not running and replaced the engine and rebuilt the lower unit/outdrive. I have maybe 5-6 hrs on it so far. Last year it died at the dock and wouldn't restart. I got it out this year and managed to get it to start and run. Took it for first run of the year yesterday. All was good except it had a misfire at full throttle, as I had noticed before. Then when I throttled back to idle and coasted down, it died again and won't restart. I sprayed starter fluid directly into the carb and had no effect so I'm pretty sure it's ignition related. I also have a fuel pressure gauge and it showed good pressure. I checked wiring and all looked good. Didn't have a spark tester with me. Last year I noticed the tach jumping around strangely so replaced that also. Again, I'm suspecting the ignition module, but I can't seem to locate one for replacement. It says it's part "807645-3 57L BRV" and has a single plug with 8 pins (see pictures) Does anyone know of a replacement or different system I can install?
