THE OTHER DAY MY ENGINE WAS RUNNING FINE AND THEN IT JUST STARTED RUNNING REALLY ROUGH, WONT GET ON PAD AND WONT RUN OVER 1200 RPM. RUNS FINE IN IDLE AND NUETRAL, FOUND I HAD A SEVERED WATER PRESSURE LINE AND WASHED OUT 2 SPARK PLUGS. FIXED LINE AND SPARK PLUGS AND TOOK IT TO A MECHANIC, HE HOOKED UP TO COMPUTER AND IT SAID ALL WAS FINE. CHECKED IGNITION, COMPRESSION, PLUGS. IT FEELS LIKE IT MIGHT BE STARVING FOR FUEL SO i VISUALLY CHECKED ALL LINES AND THEY LOOKED GOOD. ANY SUGGESTIONS? THANKS IN ADVANCE,<br />MEAN GREEN

THIS ENGINE IS ALSO A 200 HP AND USUALLY WILL RUN IN THE 6200 RPM RANGE IF THIS HELPS ANY.

Mean, are you sayin that you had a water hose under the cowling spraying water around and it was getting sucked into the air intakes? if so, drain the vapor separator tank on the side of the motor...I wouldn't be surprised if there is a big slug of water in your efi system....

Luckily it was a simple solution, the plug for my injectors had seperated just enough for injectors four and six to quit, I checked the EFI system and it was pretty clean. I took it out yesterday and it ran like a champ. Thanks for the advice, I caught it soon enough before it could get into my efi system I guess.
