poor performance in rough water. changed fuel tank, no air leaks in fuel hoses, good fresh gas, rebuilt fuel pump, stator and coils check out with ohm meter, motor drops one cylinder only in rough water, runs great in smooth water. don't know if it's the same cylinder each time or not, help!

Sounds like something loose, wires, hoses. Sparkplugs wires may be getting wet, and shorting to block or case. Has this engine been worked on at a shop on hiway 19 between Homosassa and Crystal River?

not on 19, on 27 just north of Ocala left side going north, complete engine rebuild by previous owner. thanks for the info, will check all wireing, hoses, etc. let you know. Possible switch box internal problem only manifesting itself in rough water?null

How far are you from Dunellon? After the first of the year, I will helping a a friend bring a 23 Bayliner back to life,he lives North East of Dunnellon, if you are close I can swing by and put the meters on it.
