1996 Johnson 150 won't start

Motor usually starts immediately. Occasionally, it takes several minutes of starting (10 sec bursts). Acts fuel starved. When it finally starts it runs perfect

KQ5K,<br />Welcome to the board.<br />You can do a search for this. It is a very common problem?<br />Could be primer bulb or circuit, fuel restriction, clogged vent or numerous other problems.<br />There are numerous hints posted.<br />After checking the obvious and still no luck, post back with what you have and have not done.
