1996 johnson 150 ocean runner not idling

i have changed all the seals on the carbs and throttle plates and the engine will not idle, i rebuilt the carbs several months ago and it ran fine, i went out and all of a sudden it did not want to idle i was lucky to be near the dock. but it is driving me crazy! i dont see any phisical leaks and as it idles the primer bulb goes soft and i pump it up, here is the kicker it will run if i push the choke button in every 5 seconds or so

Since the primer bulb goes soft, it suggests a restriction in the fuelline. Maybe the anti-siphon valve? You should get a "Check Engine" warning light, if you have the "System Check Tachometer. It probably pays to clean the main fuel screen where it connects to the fuel/vapor seperator, under the airbox.
