I have a 1996 Johnson Faststrike 150 hp. When I bought it a year ago, say I would run throw it in reverse real fast, the motor would bounce up and down a few times, like something wasn't holding it in place right. Also once last year in swift water it did the same thing. Yesterday when I trimmed it down in my back yard, it bounced up and down once but when I trimmed it up and down later it didn't. I checked the fluid level today and it was a little low but could this have been causing the problem?
