1996 fast trac trim tilt

1996 trim will go down from both outboard switch on engine and at helm ..wont trim up from either engine or helm...new motor trim assembly can raise or lower with power probe think definitely electrical switched relays still didn't work....help is there a fuse that could be popped?where do I start.

Normally the fuse on the engine would kill both up and down trim, if blown.

So either the up relay is bad, or the up circuit wiring is bad. Swapping the relays will ID that issue.

tried switching relays..still nothing was working fine

There is a 20 amp fuse in the trim circuit but it powers both relays.

I would start by buzzing out the “up” side switch circuit as they are wired in series.

Start with wire between the solenoid and motor switch. This segment common to both helm and motor switches

Relays need to supply both battery voltage and ground for relays to power the PTT motor. I would check the wiring of power and ground to each relay to figure out which you don't have in the up circuit.
