1996 Euroline 120xr Jetboat how to change the tilt of the jet drive?

I have a 95 jet boat and a 96, my 96 lookslike the jet is pointed more up than down into the water, it also creates a bigger rooster tail when i throttle it, however my weaker 90hp jetboat goes the same speed as my 120xr hp jetboat. I'm wondering if the tilt of the jetdrive pointed up rather than lower is causing the highend mph loss? If so how can i go about changing the degree of tilt of the jet so it points lower into the water?
