i have a 1996 60 hp merc and while on the water the other day my friend tried to hook the radio up to the boat and when he did so he crossed one wire onto the main battery and it caused a spark. now when i start the boat the control box makes one beep. i was thinking that it was supposed to go beep beep beep, but i can not remember if this is right. also now after being on the water for a while the horn will randomly go off in a solid beeeeep that will change pitches and cut off and on. i can clearly tell something has been shocked what do you think i need to replace? all your help will be appreciated!!
