1996 40hp FORCE (HELP)

Hay guys, new to the site and have puchased a 40 hp force that has a crack in the lower leg fixable, if I could get it apart but don't have a diagram of the lower unit any help would be great.

go to mercruiser.com, search with pictures, find your motor, then look for th diagram of the gear case
