I can't find a number on the coil that matches anything. What coil would I need for this motor?
Thanks Greg

Hi there, if you're able to provide the engine serial number 'it would be much easier and safer to find the correct engine parts/numbers for you....Anything else would just be a guess but obtainable none the less if needed.

Serial number is og098310. Thanks Greg
Just so you're aware, your serial number shows the engine year to a 1994 vs 1996. MERCURY SEA PRO 30 MLH/ALT - ( 30 H.P. (1994) Serial No: 0G098310 Model No: 1031217PD Catalog No: 90-80874494

Here's your complete parts catalog for you, http://www.mercruiserparts.com/selec..._nbr=808744+94

Looks like you're looking for item number 38 in the following link below, (New Merc part number 827509A12 / Old # 827509A6) http://www.mercruiserparts.com/Show...r=494&bnbr=40&bdesc=ELECTRICAL+COMPONENTS+(1)

No spark coming out then switched it to different cylinder still had no spark but one that did have spark still had spark on new cylinder placement where the one that didn't have spark came from. If that makes any sense so bad coil right or am i thinking wrong? Thanks Greg
