This 4-stroke 15 HP Evinrude stops running after 10 seconds or so, unless I squeeze the primer bulb.
The primer bulb is hard when I squeeze it, but it seems the extra pressure keeps the motor running.
I have disassembled and cleaned the carb-prior to that the engine wouldn't run at all, so I'm making progress.
Also checked the filter on the fuel pump and it was clean.
After the engine died, I pulled the drain plug from the carb float bowl and it was full of gas, so I am stumped!
This motor was bought new and has been very lightly used, but has been run during the summer every year.
