I've had an issue arise with my motor. It's a 1995 Yamaha p60 tiller. Upon putting in the water boat starts and idles good. I can get up on plane with no problem, drive at approx 4200-4500 for 10 to 15 minutes then slow down and boats bogs down acts like its running out of fuel. Then I go for full throttle and motor stumbles or comes close to stalling then zoom wide open 5200 -5500 like nothing wrong, slow down same thing happens . It seems as though once motor is warm it happens, I have no problem starting, idling, or wide open just seems to surge, stumble, miss, until full throttle. I have no mid range throttle for cruising or when getting out of the hole (under load). I have replaced the plugs, checked the primer ball, adjusted the linkage for cdi box per the yamaha manual periodic maintenance. Before I rebuild the carbs I was hoping someone could point me elsewhere first as it seems odd that its only when the motor is warmed up. Once warmed up no problem starting, idiling, low speed like 5-7 mph and wide open, just mid range and coming up on plane, then no issues at wide open. Carburetion problem or what??? Thanks for your input.
