I have a new to me Starcraft 1700 bowrider with a mercury outboard. It is a 1995 and I am at a loss with the battery location on the boat. It is not in either rear corner and I can not see it or follow the battery cables to it. There is a piece of deck that seems like it could be removed but I can not get it to come loose with prying or attempting to lift it. It does extend to under the forward part of the transom. The batteries are obviously dead and need to either be replaced or charged. And help with where they may be is appreciated. Thanks in advance for the help.
