I'm looking at a 1995 Regal 233 Valanti with a 5.8 Fi Volvo. I can't find any reviews on this boat, and would love some info if anyone's familiar with this boat. Thanks!

Regal is one of the top tier boats made. Up there with cobalt. Year after year they are in the JD-Power top 3 for build quality/reliability. As long as the boat was well maintained, you will not be disappointed. Ride in someones bayliner or imperial, then hop in a regal of the same year.

Ayuh,.... Sweet barge,...

The only somewhat minor drawback I see is it's a Ford motor...
Ford left the marine market about the time that boat was built...

Beautiful boat. VERY big, VERY deep for a 23 footer. Love walk-through transoms. I'd say go for it if you can get her for the right price. When you look at it, ask him what he would be willing to take it off ebay for. The engine isn't ideal, but it only has 260 hours on it.
