What's the method to replacing the sparkplugs on this engine ?<br />Remove the manifold ? ( How difficult is it ?)<br />Any ideas ???

You need a 5/8 plug socket with a wobble built in to it snap/on tools has one that works fine the chrome one works the best.

Thanks A.D. Have you used this socket yourself ? The exhaust manifold seams so close to the angle of the plug that it appears impossible to remove without disassembling the manifold. Can you give me the Snap On part number so I can get the one you suggest ? <br />Thank you :)

snap on plug socket is S9706AFU 5/8 chrome with built in wobble not the ball joint one that one will not work as well....

I was able to do it on my 5.0 by putting a spark plug socket over the plug and turning the socket with an open end wrench. My spark plug sockets have a hex base at the bottom, yours might too. West marine sells tools to change plugs, i think it comes with a socket wrench, extender, wobble joint, and sockets. I think its a reasonable price too.
