Hello,

Thanks to other posts I believe I have got to the point that I believe my stator is faulty. I developed a sudden no spark (to any of the 4 plugs) situation. I unhooked the stator leads to the switch box and tested them. I got a higher ohm reading than I should have on the blue to blue/white wires and I got an O.L reading on the red to red/white wires. The blue to ground and red to ground tests both showed no continuity.

I know that some like to test with a dva (I don't have one but will get one of absolutely necessary) but I can't get the boat to run.

Based on my results, do you believe my stator is faulty and causing a no spark situation?

Also, are there free downloadable service manuals for my engine anywhere? I can't find one if they do exist. I'm willing to pay for one but I'd rather not pay the $93 that Mercury wants.

Thank you for your time.

Jamey
