Re: 1995 Kawasaki 750 jet skis
Great cheap, forgiving skis!!!-Parts are cheap and pretty easy to find. All mid 90's era kawasaki skis utilized the 550cc 650cc and 750cc 2 stroke engines. the 750 models all had the same displacement and differed very little from craft to craft. most sitdown models ran a dual carb engine as opposed to a single carb found on the 750sx stand up. the 750 sxi had dual carbs nd slightly advanced timing, 1995 was also the year kawasaki discontinued use of the "small pin" engine. the larger big pin engines were used. the components consisted of a larger wrist pin and the cases had more hardware. these engines were painted a light green color. dead give away paired with dual carbs. these engines ran Kiehin carbs either a set of dual 38mms or a single 40mm. carbs are very user friendly. down side to engines of this era were the crankshaft seals that tend to leak or suck air. these 650 and 750 engines also have crankcase drains in the event the carbs injest water. -J.W
