1995 Jophnson 28hp loses power?? Walter!!

Our 1995 28 hp Johnson will lose power then die, but will restart and go again. The thng is the power loss and dying is a regular thing. This motor is not oil injected. Any idea.<br /><br />Walt: did you checkout the sledbabes.com site yet?

O.K. people . Doe's this thing clear itself up if you push the choke button on your key switch ?If it doe's so but only for a short time your carb is plugged and needs cleaning.

No, does not clear up with choke from what the "other half" says. Now time to look at the primer solenoid. Is that little red handle pointed back towards the engine?
