1995 force 70 hp

I recently purchased a 1994 starcraft starcaster 17 ft. w/ a 1995 force 70 hp motor. What I need to know: Is this motor fuel injected? What is the compression supposed to be? When throttling down should the engine wine up and down? <br /> Thanks <br /> Pat

You could have problems with the carb floats sticking, an air leak or your motor may begining to show signs of a run away. A run away motor can be scary and dangerous. If it were mine I would decarb the crap out of it. Get a can or two of sea foam deep creep and run that through the system. If problem persists start by replacing all the fuel lines and use good quality fuel clamps.
