I just received this engine and I'm trying to remove lower unit to change impeller, I took off all of the visible nuts, is there a hidden bolt on this engine? <br />I was told that the lower unit would drop right off.
Remove the trim tab, then remove the bolt that is up inside the pocket.<br />Then remove the other 4 bolts, 2 on each side.<br /><br />There is no shift shaft to disconnect on that motor.
