1995 Evinrude 48HP Bent Fin

Greetings,<br />I've been looking at a 1995 Evinrude 48HP (Model E48ESL). It has a bent fin. I was wondering if it can be staightened. The guy that has it said it was run aground. The prop is torn up pretty bad, but I am more concerned about how to straighten the fin. <br /><br />Thanks for any information.<br /><br />Terry G.<br />tgordon@kycom.net

Prop shops straighten the "fin" (skeg)regularly, Terry. It is not a big deal. <br /><br />Red sky at night. . .<br />JB
