1995 Evinrude 225

The other day while out on the water I turned my boat off at the dock and about 10 min. later it would not start. Got it back on the trailer and can only get the engine to start when trimmed up and will not continue to run if trimmed down. Any imput would be greatly appreciated.

There was also excess fuel in the airbox/intake when I removed it

possibly the floats in thw carbs are adjusted wrong or stuck open,
if its been a while order new kits and rebuild the carbs, not too difficult DIY job. Order parts here on iBoats.
