That problem is usually indicative of dirty carbs, fuel pump rebuild, small fuel filter needs replaced or dirty fuel lines to include the fuel pickup in the fuel tank. A good test is to connect a different fuel source to the engine and test run it at WOT (Wide Open Throttle).
