Hello all. I am attempting to get said boat back on the water, but I needs much work. I know I have to pull the Yamaha stern drive apart to free the shifting fork but it has many more quirks I will post about later. I could use any advice and resources that can be provided. I definitely could use a line on parts as they are not easy to find in my area. Thanks in advance for your time and assistance.

All depends where one looks for the parts.

Thanks Bond-o and Capt Ken. I have seen y'alls posts before that helped calm my nerves about this. Capt Ken I hoped you would see this post because I believe you have parts I will need, starting with a gasket kit for the stern drive. There is a long story with this boat, will share it when there's time . Thanks again for your time and keep the open side up.

Lower seal kits are still available but seals for the upper have to be ordered separately.

Hello again. I have started the stern drive removal and am having trouble completely separating it. I removed the hydraulic lift arms and six nuts, what am I missing or forgetting? I also need the gasket kit, how and whom do I order it from. Any help is truly appreciated.

PS I have determined that it is just in a bind, will have to enlist some assistance. Where is the repair manual sold, and/or is it downloadable?

The holes on the drive have corroded and seized on the studs. We have to drive wedges to separate them at times. No online manuals and only aftermarket if you can find them.

Thanks Capt Ken you are right on, I did see a bunch of corrosion throughout. How may I contact you about the upper seals? I work in Miramar Beach, but I don't know if I can make it out there before y'all close.
