No personal experience, but I believe they're "no wood" boats, and I also believe most here will tell you Bryant is a top notch boat...

Looks like a Mercruiser Alpha drive....that's good. What engine?

I came close to buying a Bryant several years ago (similar to this one) and have been in/on/around a few. FWIW, the fit/finish was pretty good...better than most. They were a little heavier than other boats of similar size; good for ride quality, not so good for performance/efficiency. Everyone I've talked to that had one had good things to say about both the boat and the Bryant family. If it checks out (survey and mechanical inspection) you might have a good boat.

One thing I did find odd; when crawling around one one day I noticed I could see outside light shining through the hull sides. Like they were partially translucent. Honestly I don't know what that means....just throwing it out there in case anyone else has an answer.

Nice boat but it is a few thousand over NADA and that trailer can not make up that difference

boat is actually for sale via a dealer, they said it's fully inspected and comes with some sort of a warranty. engine is a sbc, not sure if 305 or 350. any ideas what a boat like this and trailer would be worth?

Depends a lot on where you are, usually. What part of the world are you in?

Value will depend on the engine and condition. 250 hp (5.7) is preferable. Either way I hope they have some wiggle room in the pricing.

Bryant has a fairly active owners forum. You might try floating some questions there.

I like posting in places like this better, if I went posted in the manufactures forum, of course they'd glamour the thing, where as here there's ppl with boats from various manufactures. I feel that way I'll get the good with the bad, which is what I want

Very nice boat. I bet with some elbow grease it might very well shine up to like new. The price is kinda at the high end of the range.
