Hi, does anyone have an idea why a 90 hp Nissian fouls the plugs a couple of times a season. The plugs come out wet like it is getting to much fuel. It has NGK BP8HS-10 plugs which fouls same as orginal plugs. The run time is around 100 hours before fouling. It also is a 4 stroke engine. The engine starts and runs good till the plugs start fouling. My mistake on saying it was a 4 stroke.

d

well one thing is for certain, it's not a 4-stroke. The Nissan 90's are either going to be a carbureted 2-stroke or a direct injection 2-stroke. Since you say it's a 1995 model, that would make it a carb. 2-stroke.

If it looks like a duck, walks like a duck, quacks like a duck- then it is a carb issue.

100 hours on plugs....hehe, definately could be worse!
