Carbs need to be disassembled and cleaned properly

Did you disassemble completely and soak in carb cleaner and blowout all passages and jets?
Did you do the link and sync adjustments like your manual states after reinstalling the carbs along with the pilots screw adjustments?

make sure it has good compression and spark, then make sure the timing is advancing properly.
If all that is good then look at the fuel/air ratio,do the carbs again sometimes it takes a few times to get all passages cleaned properly or maybe you have a vacuum leak somewhere

kind of funny this should pop up, I was at my local dealer yesterday and he has 2 of the exact same model, doing exaclty this, and he has been unable to fix either of them yet, so there maybe some sort of common problem that needs to be sorted out by someone who knows them really well.
