Hey guys I have a pair of 1995 yama's.They run great but I was noticed the other day while my wife was docking the boat that water was spitting out of the two exhaust holes on the back side of the engines.I did notice that the port engine was spitting fairing good and the starboard wasn t hardly spitting at all.Is this something to worry about or not?I think that they have always done this but I never took time to ask why? and if it matters?Like I said the engines perform great and the water pumps pump strong. Thanks In Advance.

The water pump impeller on each engine has to be replaced every other year unless you operate more than I do, but at idle, those exhaust holes do not put out much water

not only do the pumps need attention but the t-stats and the pressure valve grommet as well. they need replacing and cleaning. but its not uncommon to see a small difference in the idle relief water discharge between the engines.
