I have a 1994 Yamaha 225txrs sitting on a fixed rack in the full down position. The tilt/trim has a seal leak. I am trying to tilt the engine up so I can (i) get to the trim unit itself and (ii) remove the lower gearcase. Apparently there is not enough fluid in the resovior to engage the trim motor to push the motor up (I hooked a portable battery up and the motor will not engage up, only down). The slotted screw on the side that, when turned counterclockwise, allows the motor to be manually tilted is stripped. In trying to use a screw removal bit on the stripped screw, it seems I have penetrated the resovior through the screw and accomplished nothing except making my situation worse.

Need an alternate methood of raising this engine and some guidance to remove the stripped screw. I have also noted that the screw on the side is not designed to fully unscrew-only a couple of turns.
