hi i bought a 94 waverunner 3 gp 700 with a blown motor last year and took it apart and finally rebuilt it and assembled it last week
test drove it yesterday and it overheated. i ran the water feed directly to the head and it ran cool so the engine is ok.
couple questions ,
one is the correct water line connections(to confirm if i have them right)
my understanding is the feed from the jet pum goes to the lower hose barb in the exhaust and the upper hose barb on the exhaust goes to the head
can anyone confirm this? there are no tee connectors and only three connections of the same size hose for the water lines.
the other question is how much water should be coming out of the rooster tail pipe in the back on a 94 700 gp? there is a spray not a strong stream and its only a couple feet high.
could a lack of flow be the problem? and if so what can cause that?
i need to get some more info before i run it anymore and i cant find any of this info n the service manual i have
