I have a94 Sea Ray 170 Signature with the Mercruiser 3.0L Alpha 1 Gen II outdrive. The Fuel Guage stick when you shut it off it goes past the Full Mark and until you hit a bump it wont register. The Tach goes ape Snot occasionally and i would like to repalce the Tach and the Fuel Guage. I would also like to replace the Panel that the guages are mounted in.

My questions is can i buy the guages that match what i have or will i have to go to the new style. I would like to keep the original style if possible. My Guages are Black with white numbers and a white pointer. I see a lot of new and used guages but none that match what is there.

Has anyone that has replaced this panel have any tips or suggestions on replacing the guage panel?

Go to the last 3-4 pages of Friscoboater's thread found here:

http://forums.iboats.com/showthread.php?t=454460

He details his gauge replacement, and even has a video.

I know I've seen genuine Sea Ray gauges on Ebay - you might try there.

I'd personally find a aftermarket set that you like the looks of, however. You'll get more bang for your $$$.
