Hello everyone this may sound like a post from earlier but I think mine is a little different. I had my boat banked on shore, motor was turned off but the key was left in the on position. Went in to eat some lunch came back and the overheat/low oil light was flashing and the buzzer was going off. Can't figure out how to turn off or reset both the light and the alarm. I know the motor is fine because I did'nt have the thing running is it a wiring issue. Please help!!!!

Have you tried, disconnect negative battery cable for about 30 seconds?

It shouldn't have gone off. Maybe the magnet fell off the float switch while you were gettin' lunch. Wouldn't be the first time.

If you disconnect one of the two wires to the oil tank on the engine, and the buzzer quits, AND the oil tank is plumb full, that's yer problem.

hope it helps
John
