Help! Went to go to the lake and noticed there was a small puddle of "blue" gear lube under the transom. It appears to come from a black rubber house/tube. It comes out fresh and not milky. Is there a way too replace this without removing the drive unit? Also if it's just a simple house replacement...what can I expect for hours of labor cost at a shop?

Since this is your first post. :)

Is there a way too replace this without removing the drive unit? No, not really You need to have good access to the rear area of the bell housing as well as the transom assembly to remove the old hose and get the new one on.

Also if it's just a simple hose replacement...what can I expect for hours of labor cost at a shop? My guess would be 3-4 hours . . . so maybe $500 total. chances are a shop will recommend a bunch of other work, like bellows, at the same time . . . the cost could go up towards $1200 . . . in my estimation.

I replaced the oil hoses on my outdrives this past spring while replacing the inlet hoses (DIY) . . . not the most fun thing to do

I have changed the fitting without disassembly of the drive but it is difficult but possable.Access to the quick disconnect and "E" clip is necessary inside the engine compartment. You may have to remove the steering cylinder also.
