1994 Merc 3.0L Fuel Pump

There is a slight amount of white residue on my fuel pump, is it correct to assume the the pump is leaking? I'm showing the part number as 42725A3 but has been replaced by #861676A1, I was wondering if there is a fuel pump from a local auto parts store that would cross ref?

Ayuh,.....

That's probably just alittle bit of Corrosion,.... Brush it off,+ dab some Paint on it....

There's Nothing that's White than can leak from the Fuel Pump.....

Wipe it off spray some corrosion pro on it and everything else. Not the belts and the pulleys.
