1994 Johnson 30 hp outboard tiller/elec. start

Am having a problem with missing at full throttle after running fine for about 4 min. at full throttle. Have replaced spark plugs and gas line. Also have fresh gas. Seem to notice that water expelled from exhaust is hotter than normal. Could this possibly be a problem with the thermostat??? Would appreciate any help.

First you are in Yamaha country - Put future posts in with the Johnson folks. As to the problem it could be tstats or waterpump. I would replace both.
